Agenda 2030, adopted by the United Nations in 2015, defines development goals to which all states have committed themselves equally. Overcoming the major challenges of climate and nature conservation, poverty and inequality, discrimination and corruption requires national and international efforts. International cooperation and development cooperation play an important role in promoting self-determined development to improve living and working conditions while respecting ecological limits.
